LAUG (Loss & Unaccounted for Gas) = (Gas Input at CGS − Metered Gas Output at Mother/LNG/PNG) ÷ Gas Input × 100. It captures leakage, metering error, theft, and billing variance across the network. Values in the 5–7% range are typical for a well-run CGD network; sustained values above 8.5% trigger an investigation workflow in this demo's Alarms feed.
